Orange Quail

These Quail are perfect when BBQ for Spring.

  • 4 Quail
  • 1 Orange – Cut into wedges
  • 2 Cup Orange Juice
  • ¼ Cup Honey


  1. Rinse off Quail stuff a wedge of orange in chest.  In a 9×9 pan place quail and pour orange juice and honey over each body and flip.  Cover and chill for 1 hour.
  2. Take out of Refrigerate and flip Quail again and cover for another hour.  Place on Rotisserie BBQ rod and cook on medium over coals for 15 min and roll over until done.  Serve when golden brown.  Since legs are small try to cover with tin foil.
