Dad's BBQ Rabbit

When you are having a BBQ you need to cook up a little Rabbit from time to time.

  • 1 Rabbit
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Salt
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • ¼ Cup Olive Oil
  • ¼ Cup Milk


  1. Pre – Heat oven to 300 degrees.  In a bowl add all dry ingredients. Sprinkle over full rabbit and the inside of the rabbit.
  2. Then in another bowl add oil and milk.  Brush the oil / milk mixture over the full rabbit and the chest cavity.  Place in a 13 x 9 baking pan and cover with Foil. Cook for 2 hours.
  3. Check within the first 30 minutes and base. Repeat until cooked tender.
  4. Remove and place on your BBQ Grill and base with remaining juice from Rabbit Sauce on the full body of the Rabbit for 15min and Remove cut and serve.
