Dirty Rice

Something with a little kick in this dirty rice side dish.

  • 2 Cups of Water
  • 1 Cup White Rice
  • 1 /2 Cup Diced Tomatoes
  • ½ Cup of Diced Yellow Bell Pepper
  •  2 Minced Garlic Cloves
  •  ½ of a Dice White Onion
  • 1 Spicy Smoke Sausage
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Louisiana Hot Sauce
  •  1 Pinch of Pepper
  •  1 Pinch of Salt.


  1. Bring water to boil and add rice. Turn down to low and cook until water is almost absorbed.
  2. Turn off the heat and let rest. In a large frying pan add the oil, garlic, onion, bell pepper & cook until soft then add the diced tomatoes and sausage. Mix in the Hot Sauce, chili powder, pepper and salt. Add the cooked rice to the frying pan and mix together. Combine will and serve.
