Butter Buffalo Steak

This a great way to make a nice buffalo steak.

  • 1 Large piece of Buffalo Steak
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 Medium White Onion
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Chives


  1. Season both sides of the Buffalo meat with salt and pepper.  In a large Iron Skillet turn on High Heat.  When your pan is hot, add the buffalo steak and cook on both sides for about 7 to 10 Minutes.
  2.  In a small bowl blend the butter at room temperature with the Chives. Cut up your Small White Onion and add to the pan with the 2 Tbsp. of Butter.  This will soft the onions while adding flavor to your buffalo steak.  Remove the steak and let rest for 5 minutes and slice. Serve over the soft butter onions and add the chive butter to the top.
