Red Rice

This healthy side dish is easy and will have the kids screaming for more.
Homemade By: Siam Rimmer

• 1 ¾ Cups of Water
• 1 cup White Rice
• ¼ Cup Dice White Onion
• 1 Tbsp. Oil
• ¼ cup of Tomato Sauce


In a large skillet add 1 Tbsp. of Oil, the Rice and Onion. Slightly brown the rice and onion. When the rice and onion are slightly brown add the water and tomato sauce and stir. Bring to boil then cover with lid and turn down too low for 20 – 30 minutes or until you do not see any water bubbling. Then turn off heat and rest for 15 minutes. Remove the lid and stir you should have the fluffiest Red Rice.
