Cran Orange

The Perfect Cran Orange Cupcakes

  • 1 Box – Yellow Cake
  • Oil
  • Eggs
  • Water
  • ½ of the Zest from Orange
  • ½ of the Juice from the Orange
  • ¼ Cup Fresh Cranberries

Butter Cream Frosting:

  • Recipe for Butter Cream on Rimmer’s Red Barn.
  • ½ of  Zest from Orange
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh Orange Juice


  1. Pre – Heat Oven to 350 Degrees
  2. Make Cake mix to directions.
  3. ½ of Zest of Orange an add to Cake Mix.
  4. Take ½ of Orange and Squeeze the Juice into the Batter and mix well.
  5. Line a 12 Cupcake Pan with Paper Liners
  6. Scoop and fill each cupcake liner and place in the Oven
  7. Bake to Directions on Box.
  8. When the Cupcakes are cooked remove from oven and place to cool completely.
  9. Make the favorite Butter Cream Frosting and add the other ½ of the Zest to the Batter.
  10. Add 1 Tbsp of the Fresh Orange Juice to the Frosting and Beat well.
  11. Add the Orange Butter Cream into a Piping Bag and Frost Cupcake
  12. Top with Fresh Cranberries
  13. Plate and Serve.
