Who doesn’t want the flavor of bacon with Green Beans. Perfect veggie to serve alongside a great meal.

- 4 cups fresh Green Beans
- ½ diced medium onion
- 2 Tbsp. Bacon Fat
- 3 cups water
- 3 strips of cooked chopped bacon.
- 1 tsp. pepper
- Cut ends from fresh green beans and rinse. Use a Steam Pot for this dish. Add the water and bacon fat to bottom of pot then strainer.
- Place Green Beans and diced white onion. Sprinkle with black pepper to taste. Including the 2 strips of cooked half way through chopped bacon. Cover and steam for 15 minutes or until done. Do not overcook you still want some crisp.
- When green beans are cooked to your preference remove from steamer and place in dish sprinkle chopped fully cooked bacon for garnish.
