Fresh Brussel Sprouts and bacon is a perfect summer side dish.

- 12 Fresh Brussel Sprouts
- 1 Medium Sweet Onion
- 5 Slices of Applewood Bacon
- Slice up the bacon and cook in a large frying pan. Skin the onion and slice into thin slices and cook with the bacon. Season with pepper.
- Cut off the ends of the Brussel Sprouts and cut them in half. Rinse with cold water. When bacon and onions are almost caramelized and cooked add Brussel Sprouts and toss until they are tender. Season with a little more pepper for taste and plate.
