Big Horn Cookies

These huge cinnamon sugar cookies are great for the kids who have nut allergies.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp. Salt
  • 1 Cup Butter, Room Temperature
  • 1 ¼ Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 ½ tsp. Vanilla extract
  • ¼ Cup Sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp Cinnamon

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl cream together egg, butter and sugar until combined. Add the Vanilla and cream.  Add the flour, baking powder, salt and combine well.
  2. In a bowl add the sugar and cinnamon and mix together this will be for the base to roll the cookie dough.  Use a ¼ cup measure and roll out the cookies into balls.
  3. Place them in the bowl of cinnamon sugar and coat them. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 14 min. Chill on Cookie sheet and eat them all up…  Makes 1 dozen cookies.
