The Perfect Old way to cook Liver and Grilled Onions

Pre – Heat your oil and butter in a large frying pan. Then in 2 shallow bowls – take your flour, pepper, salt, onion salt and combine. In the other shallow bowl add your eggs, milk then whisk together. Take your Liver and cut into 4 average servings. Season both sides with pepper and salt. Dip into the flour mixture and cover both sides and dip into the egg mixture until both sides are covered. Repeat and dip into the flour mixture again. Repeat to egg and then final flour. Set aside on a plate until all the pieces are covered. Your Oil should be turned to medium add two of the piece of Liver cook for about 9 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown. Turnover and cook until the other side is Golden Brown. Remove from the pan and set aside to rest on plate. Add your White Onion which should be sliced. Cook until they are caramelized. Plate your Liver and top with the cooked onions.
