Maraschino Cherry Bread

This is the perfect Maraschino Cherry Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups of Flour
  • 2 Tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ Tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • ½ Cup Oil
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • 2 – 10oz Jar of Maraschino Cherries
    • All but 6 Cherries for Frosting.
  • Rainbow Sprinkles

Frosting:

  • 1 Cup of Butter Room Temp
  • ¼ Cup of Reserved Maraschino Cherry Juice
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 5 Cups of Powder Sugar
  • 6 Cherries Chopped

 Instructions:

Pre – Heat Oven to 350 Degrees.  In a mixing bowl add egg, sugar, oil and milk cream together.  Add the salt, vanilla, baking powder, and flour. Mix until well combined. Fold in the Chopped Cherries. Take Non – Stick Stray into a Bread Pan. Then pour the cherry mixture into the bread pan. Bake for 40 minutes to check a knife and place in the center of the bread if comes out clean. Remove to cool.

Prepare the Cherry Frosting and mix until cream to a smooth texture.  Spread over the bread then sprinkle the Rainbow Sprinkles on the top and add slices Maraschino Cherries on the top.  Remove from pan and slice.
